Dear Parents and Guardians,
PBIS stands for positive behavioral interventions and supports. It promotes school safety and positive behavior. Beginning on August 25th, the students will earn points each day for being responsible, safe, and respectful. They can earn a total of 10 points a day. At the end of the week, students may use their points to purchase items. Here are some available options, but may vary in individual classrooms:
• Treasure Chest
• Bring toy from home
• Extra Outside Time
• Candy Bucket

Join Us for “Grits for Grands” – September 3rd & 4th!
We’re excited to invite grandparents to a special breakfast event with their grandchild(ren)! Parents, please share this invitation with your child’s grandparents and kindly allow this event to be just for them. You're always welcome to visit on another day!

Important Details:

Check your child’s folder to find out which day their grandparents are scheduled to attend.

The cost is $4.00 per grandparent (maximum of 4 grandparents per child).

Please send exact cash or a check payable to Ware County Nutrition by Tuesday, August 26th.

On the Day of the Event:

Arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for sign-in.

Bring a valid photo ID.

Only clear bags are permitted on campus.

Remind kids: phones/devices stay tucked away during class time. Model it—put yours away during dinner, too.

Walk around the yard or neighborhood with your child. Count how many different birds, bugs, or blooms you can spot.

Our Domino's Fundraiser kicked off on Friday. Please use the form sent home in your child's folder to register on the website. There is a link you can share with family and friends to purchase a Domino's Slice the Price Card. You can also sell directly, collect the funds, and turn into the office. Thank you for helping our school to raise money for our Field Trips!

🚗 Car rider commute survival tip: Instead of doomscrolling, ask your kid, “What’s one thing you learned today that wasn’t in a book?”

Establish a family “launch pad” spot for backpacks, shoes, and lunchboxes. Less morning chaos = smoother starts.
