
Juniors and Seniors from Ware County will be given the opportunity to attend the Probe Fair at South Georgia State College (Waycross Campus) on November 18, 2022. The Probe Fair is a college fair that will give students anul opportunity to visit with, and get more information on various colleges from all over. Students will travel by bus. Ware County's time is 9:00-10:00, so we will leave the high school around 8:30. To attend, students must register and pick up a permission form from Ms. Penland's office. Deadline to sign up is Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 3:00pm.

Does your teen study well with others? If so, let him or her start a study group
that meets in person or online.

Allow your teen to take over some life-management tasks. Let him or her
make her medical appointments, etc.

Bridge to Succes will be hosting the WCHS annual college fair on November 3, from 8:30 - 11:30 in the Performing Arts Center. Students will sign up via their classroom teachers.


Is your teen facing a school problem? Before you jump in, have him or her brainstorm ways to solve it—without your help.

Attention Juniors! Hospice Satilla and Southern Forest World are seeking applicants for their Junior Board of Directors. These are excellent opportunities to serve your community. For more information and applications, click on "Menu" and scroll down to the Cohort 2024 information page.

After your teen takes notes, suggest that he or she draw a picture or diagram
to illustrate them. This can boost their memory of the material.

Does your teen have a long-range project to do? Have her break it
down into parts and make a schedule for completing them.

All students and staff are invited to wear orange on Wednesday, October 19 to show unity for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion and to send a visible message that no one should ever experience bullying!

What would your teen change if he or she had a magic wand?

Suggest your child read a biography of a person he or she admires.

Ask your teen’s advice about a problem you are facing.

If your teen challenges you, try to stay calm. Take a break. Talk when
you’re in control.

Write an encouraging note to your teen and leave it on the dinner table.

Talk with your teen about privacy. He or she should never tell friends the
passwords to social media sites or a cell phone.
