WCHS FFA junior landscape team won their state CDE this past Saturday! The purpose of CDE is to stimulate career interest, encourage proficiency development, and recognize excellence in students of nursery practices and landscaping through the agricultural education curriculum. The Junior Nursery/Landscape Career Development Event is designed to stimulate an interest in the nursery/ landscape field for high school students. The event includes identification of plant materials, a written exam involving basic horticulture knowledge as well as a team activity and disorder, equipment and supplies identification.
