WCHS proudly recognizes Olivia S. as STAR student and Ms. Jennifer Wainright as STAR teacher for 2025! The STAR student is a high school senior who has the highest score on a single test date on the SAT and is in the top 10 percent or top 10 students of their class based on grade point average. The STAR student selects the STAR teacher. Olivia selected Ms. Wainright because, "She did what I thought no teacher could do. She made me enjoy history. I also chose her, not just for what she did for me, but for what she does for all of her students." Congratulations Olivia and Ms.Wainright!
