Brooke Dial is the certified Golden Achievement Award Winner for the month of January 2024. In recognizing her, principal Jeri Ray shared the following:
"The Certified Golden Achievement Award is being presented to one of our veteran teachers, Mrs. Brooke Dial. Mrs. Dial is a 3rd grade reading, language arts, and writing teacher. This is her 14th year in education, and all have been at Wacona. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Dial is one of the Academic Quiz Bowl coaches at our school. She also assists with many of our after-school activities, including movie nights and dances. Mrs. Dial has a deep understanding of her subject matter, and her students benefit daily from her innovative teaching methods. When you walk into Mrs. Dial’s classroom, you can feel the inspiration she instills in each of her students. It is obvious from their enthusiasm and eagerness to participate that they feel they are in a positive learning environment, where they are loved and valued. Mrs. Dial is also the lead teacher in 3rd grade. She is an exceptional leader, guiding her fellow educators with grace, wisdom, and a passion for lifelong learning. Her ability to lead by example, offering guidance, mentorship, and encouragement, has not gone unnoticed. Thank you, Mrs. Dial, for your tireless efforts, your commitment to excellence, and your effective leadership. We are so blessed to have you as a Wacona Hornet!"
