Ruskin Elementary is proud to announce that six of its teachers have recently completed the Growing Readers, a Kindergarten through 3rd grade literacy professional learning grant. The program is designed and implemented through Georgia’s Regional Educational Service Agencies (RESA) and administered through the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement (GOSA) and the Georgia Department of Education. Growing Readers aims to provide consistent and high-quality professional learning to teachers on effective reading instruction to help more children read at grade level by the end of third grade. The Program Director for Growing Readers in GOSA is Stacey Lutz.
