Congratulations to Buffi Smith, the August 2024 Certified Golden Achievement Award Winner. In her recognition, Principal Donna Solomon shared the following:
"It is my absolute pleasure to announce Toni (Buffi) Smith as the certified Golden Achievement winner for Ruskin Elementary School. If you haven’t heard of Buffi Smith, you’d better listen up. She is one intense teacher in educating those little Kindergarten Jaguars. She is a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who strives
to create an engaging learning environment for her students. She always goes the extra mile to ensure her students are challenged and supported in their learning. She is highly organized, reliable, and always prepared for class. She is an awesome teacher leader and helps to guide all to greatness. Additionally, she is a great role model for our faculty, staff, and students. Unbeknownst to many, she is the reason you will see me dressed out for the students in my costumes. Buffi Smith is honored by her peers and is most deserving of this award."
