Memorial Drive Elementary School Principal Loni Hines recognized two outstanding staff members as Golden Achievement Award winners at the March 2025 board meeting. The Classified Golden Achievement Award was presented to Alyssa Raulerson, and the Certified Golden Achievement Award was presented to Jenna Brooks.
In her presentation, Principal Hines shared the following:
“Mrs. Raulerson served as the Reflection Room Parapro last year and has moved into the role of a Special Education Parapro this year. She assists in co-teaching classrooms, teaches Sonday groups to help students grow in reading, and runs a Guided Math group. She is flexible and always willing to lend a helping hand when needed in any area of our school and she does so with a positive spirit and without missing a beat. Mrs. Raulerson does a good job determining students' needs and then helping them build up to the high expectations of the classroom. She is an active member of the PBIS team, and we appreciate all she does for our school.
“Mrs. Brooks has been a kindergarten teacher at Memorial Drive for ten years. In her classroom, students are cared for but also know they are there to learn. She is consistent and dependable. Daily, students learn in small groups and work toward becoming independent learners. Kindergarten life is busy. She leads weekly collaborative planning, sends a weekly update email to help remind her grade level of priorities and what is to come, and is the GKIDS Coordinator. In addition to being an effective teacher, Mrs. Brooks is also an active member of the PBIS team and a co-sponsor of our Georgia Quiz Bowl team. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and do what she can to support our Wildcats.”
Congratulations to Mrs. Raulerson and Mrs. Brooks! We are so proud of both of you and fortunate to have you in the Ware County Schools family.
