Congratulations to Nurse Shannon Goddard, the February 2022 Classified Golden Achievement Award Winner. Upon presenting the award, Assistant Principal Le Var Garner noted:
One of my favorite quotes by Gandhi says, “When someone is going through a storm, your silent presence is more powerful than a million empty words.” This quote speaks exactly to what this person has done this year on a daily basis, and I would be safe to say that we have appreciated her silent presence more this year than any other year. This honoree has constantly been challenged this year with obstacles but in the end, we have always seen her strong will and determination to do the job that needs to be done. Another strong quality that she possesses is her willingness to help to do whatever needs to be done! I have seen her throughout the years constantly giving of her time to student and staff events and doing jobs that often no one even knows that she does like the unpacking and pressing of the 100 graduation gowns each year. We could not do it without her at Center, and so it is with great pride that we honor Nurse Shannon Goddard with the Ware County Classified Golden Achievement Award.
Congratulations, Nurse Goddard!
