Center Elementary proudly received a new American flag to display on the school's flagpole, donated by WoodmenLife Insurance representatives Chris Rolison and Andrea Osburn. The donation coincided with the anniversary of 9/11, a day of remembrance for those who lost their lives in the tragic events of that day.
The flag symbolizes our nation's unity and resilience and serves as a daily reminder of the sacrifices made by so many. We are grateful to WoodmenLife and the support from local businesses, which continue to foster a sense of community and patriotism.
The flag will be proudly flown in front of the school, helping us remember the fallen while also serving as a powerful symbol to teach our students about the flag's importance and the freedom it represents. It reminds us of the values of unity, courage, and sacrifice, which are essential lessons for our young learners as they grow to understand the significance of being part of a nation built on liberty and justice for all.
