Nine talented athletes prepared to take their next steps into the world of collegiate sports. It was a proud moment for the community, as the Ware County Gators saw nine of their own sign letters of intent on a memorable Tuesday, May 30th, 2024.

Among them was Benjamin Godwin, whose dedication and skill had earned him a spot at Wingate University for football. 

James Willingham's journey led him to LaGrange College, where his leadership qualities are sure to make him an invaluable asset to the tennis team. His determination to excel both on and off the court set him apart.

Jabare George, secured a place at Andrew College for wrestling, ready to showcase his talents on a bigger stage. 

Samantha Savinon-Rios found her home at Brenau University for cross country. 

Delaney James has set her sights on Brewton-Parker College for wrestling. 

Zyquerious Ramsey's journey to Andrew College was marked by sheer determination and perseverance in wrestling, earning him a well-deserved spot on the college roster.

LaNeeya Garrison's exceptional talent and dedication earned her a place at Bethune-Cookman University for track and field, where she aims to continue her journey towards greatness. 

Aniyah Wesley's lands at Point University for girls' basketball, where she planned to leave an indelible mark on the collegiate sports scene. 

Last but certainly not least, TaKerrah "Coco" Moody's journey brought her to East Georgia College for girls' basketball.

As the ink dried on their letters of intent, the nine Ware County athletes stood tall, ready to embark on the next chapter of their athletic careers. Their achievements were not just a testament to their talent but also to the unwavering support of their families, coaches, and the entire Ware County community. And as they prepared to take the leap into the world of collegiate sports, they carried with them the pride and spirit of the Gator Nation, ready to make their mark on the world.
