The Ware County Bass Fishing Team had a great day at Lake West Point on the Georgia/Alabama line. After a rain storm came through Lagrange on the pre-fishing day, the weather ended up being perfect Saturday for the GHSA Tournament. All of the team caught plenty of fish but struggled to get bigger fish in the boat. Most of the team caught enough fish to have 2 limits, but they were all around 1lb fish. Even with the smaller fish beating the big ones to the punch it was a fun event with a lot of action for the guys.
The Gator Bass Fishing Team can't wait for the 4th qualifier at Lake Hartwell next Month. It will be the last chance to get teams qualified for the state championship. It is destined to be a big event for us.
