The latest track meet was nothing short of electrifying, with athletes pushing their limits and achieving remarkable feats on the track and in the field. Among the myriad of standout performances, one achievement shone brightest—a new school record in the fiercely competitive 800 Meter Run.
Caleb Wise, a beacon of determination and talent, blazed a trail on the track, leaving spectators in awe with his awe-inspiring run. With a time of 2:02.29, Wise not only clinched 1st place but also etched his name in the school's history books with a record-breaking performance that left the crowd roaring with applause.
Wise's triumph in the 800 Meter Run was just one of many highlights from the meet. In the 1600 Meter Run, Samantha Savinon Rios showcased her speed and endurance, claiming 2nd place with a time of 5:44.27, while in the 3200 Meter Run, she dominated the competition, seizing 1st place with a time of 12:07.94.
LaNeeya Garrison proved her prowess in the hurdles, securing 1st place in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 16.77 seconds and 2nd place in the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 50.51 seconds. Her athleticism and agility were truly a sight to behold.
The relay teams demonstrated exceptional teamwork and determination, with the 4x400 Meter Relay team crossing the finish line in 1st place with a time of 3:58.98, while the 4x100 Meter Relay team claimed 2nd place with a time of 51.91 seconds.
In the field events, Charlacia Jones soared to victory in the Long Jump, securing 1st place with a distance of 14-11 feet, while Natalya Miller dominated the Shot Put and Discus events, claiming 1st place in both with throws of 33-10.25 feet and 106-7 feet, respectively.
