Friday night is yet another Region 1 - 5A matchup for the Gator Basketball Teams as Region 1 - 5A begins to take shape. The Gators will be traveling to Douglas to take on the Trojans of Coffee High. The schedule for today will be as follows will be as follows:
-JV Girls at 4:00 PM
-JV Boys at 5:00 PM
-Varsity Girls at 6:00 PM
-Varsity Boys at 7:30 PM
The game has huge Region 1 - 5A implications as currently, the Lady Trojans are currently 10 - 10 overall and 3 - 5 in Region 1 - 5A The Lady Gators are currently sitting at 16 - 5 overall and 6 - 1 in Region 1 - 5A.
The Varsity Boys will also take on the Trojans from Coffee who are sitting at 9 - 11 overall and 2 - 6 in Region 1 - 5A. The Gators' record stands at 13 - 8 overall and 5 - 2 in Region.
