Ware Anglers Brave the Cold and Compete at Lake Seminole

Five Ware County teams left the boat ramp this past Saturday with weather in the 20's to find some fish on Lake Seminole. Fishing was really tough but all of our guys stuck it out and got fish in the boat. It wasn't easy with only 70 of the 242 boats bringing fish back to the scales. We were really proud of how our group of tough guys handled the rough environment and kept fishing until time ran out.

Of the 240 teams that competed the top 30 qualified for the state tournament, we

were close but we didn't have any teams qualify for state this weekend. Our guys are fired up for our next GHSA event at Lake Oconee on February 17th.
