Ware Surges Past Bradwell Institute Thanks To Big First Inning
Ware County Lady Gators scored eight runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat Bradwell Institute 15-0 on Thursday. Mackenzi Trull singled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Kaleigh Joiner doubled, scoring two runs, Raygan Dixon doubled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.
Ware added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Cuylea Martin grounded out, Bradwell Institute committed an error, Molly Smith doubled, and Dixon singled, each scoring one run.
Ware added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Trull homered to left field, Joiner singled, and LaNeeya Garrison singled, each scoring one run.
Reagan Middleton stepped in the circle first for Ware. The starting pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking none. Kainani Auld started the game for Bradwell. Their starting pitcher gave up 13 hits and 11 runs (seven earned) over two and one-third innings, striking out none and walking one.
Joiner threw one inning of shutout ball for Ware County in relief. The reliever gave up zero hits, striking out one and walking none.
The Lady Gators piled up 16 hits in the game. Dixon led the team with three hits in three at bats from the leadoff position. Aniston Delk and Amberley Padgett each collected multiple hits for Ware. The Lady Gators didn't commit a single error in the field.
Auld led Bradwell Institute with one hit in one at bat. Bradwell Institute turned one double play in the game.

Ware County JV Lady Gators Take Lead And Never Look Back In Win Over Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers
Ware Junior Varsity easily dispatched Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers on Thursday, 18-0.
Ware opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two ground outs. The Lady Gators first got on the board when Kara Coleman grounded out, scoring one run.
Ware extended their early lead with three runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI singles by Clark and Coleman.
A single by Ryleigh Wilson, a double by Coleman, and an error helped Ware extend their early lead in the third. They scored eight runs on five hits in the top of the fourth inning. An error scored one run, Harmony Stevenson singled, scoring one run, Wilson singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Coleman hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, K Barnard induced Ashlyn Jacobs to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Kallie Lairsey hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Kayleigh LeMay singled, scoring one run.
Kayleigh LeMay stepped in the circle for Ware County. She surrendered zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out three and walking none. Barnard started in the circle for Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers. She surrendered 13 hits and 18 runs (10 earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking four.
Ware accumulated 13 hits in the game. Amberley Padgett went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Ware in hits. Coleman led the Lady Gators with four runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Wilson collected two hits for Ware in two at bats. Stevenson stole two bases. Ware ran wild on the base paths, amassing eight stolen bases for the game. Ware County was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Jacobs had the most chances in the field with three.
