Ware County Junior Varsity Lady Gators Triumph Over Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers

Ware County JV girls bested Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers 6-1 on Monday.

The Lady Gators got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Mattie Forsyth doubled, scoring one run; Harmony Stevenson singled, scoring three runs; Kara Coleman singled, scoring one run; and Amberley Padgett doubled, scoring one run.

Kayleigh LeMay opened the game for Ware. She allowed three hits and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out six and walking none.

Stevenson, the nine hole hitter for Ware JV, led the way with two runs batted in. She went 1-for-1 on the day.

Padgett, Stevenson, Forsyth, and Coleman each collected one hit for the Lady Gators.

H Garrett went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers in hits.

Ware County Varsity Gators Roll Past Bradwell Institute

Ware County Varsity Lady Gators won big over Bradwell Institute 10-1 on Monday.

Ware got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Bradwell Institute committed an error, Mackenzi Trull tripled, and Bradwell committed an error, each scoring one run.

Ware added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Raygan Dixon singled, and Josie Augustine hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Ware County scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Trull singled, scoring two runs; Amberley Padgett singled, scoring two runs; and Cuylea Martin singled, scoring one run.

Reagan Middleton stepped in the circle first for Ware. She gave up three hits and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out three and walking one. 

Kainani Auld stepped in the circle first for Bradwell Institute. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and five runs (zero earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out none and walking none.

Senior Kaleigh Joiner threw one inning of shutout ball for Ware County Varsity Gators in relief. The reliever gave up zero hits, striking out two and walking none. 

Trull went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Ware

County Varsity Gators in hits.

Leah Denmark led Bradwell Institute with two hits in two at bats.
