Ware County Football's Junior Varsity Football went on the road and defeated Richmond Hill 21-6. All of the Gators touchdowns came in the 1st half. Dedric Jackson and Zhai Solomon were on the receiving side of touchdown passes from Slade Sweat. Jamir Boyd added a touchdown on the ground. The Ware County "Blackwater" Defense was stifling all day. Careen Moore intercepted a pass that set up one of the Gators scores. Walker Hudson and Terron Birden added to the effort with huge sacks of the Richmond Hill quarterbacks. The JV Gators are 1-0 and look forward to a great season. Go Gators!
