Throughout the month of November, students at Daffodil Pre-K learned about the first Thanksgiving. Students enjoyed many activities where they were able to learn how the Native Americans and pilgrims lived.
Students enjoyed making homemade butter and tasting it. They also learned how Native Americans made beads to wear with their clothing. Students partnered with their friends to make their own beaded necklaces, as demonstrated by Pearce P., Donald Tre’ J., and Aleea’ A.
According to Daffodil Pre-K teacher Holly Thomas, “The students always enjoy learning about the first Thanksgiving by participating in numerous hands-on activities.”
The principal at Daffodil Pre-K is Dr. Shawanna Johnson.
