Dr. Shawanna Johnson and Mrs. Ann Nettles’ students enjoyed learning all about fairy tales and nursery rhymes during the month of January. A few of their favorite nursery rhymes and fairy tales were Humpty Dumpty, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Little Red Riding Hood, and Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Students participated in STEM activities, writing activities, character building, and fun role-playing scenarios. The students enjoyed getting to dress-up as the Little Red Hen, the Three Little Pigs, and many more of their favorite characters. According to Daffodil teacher, Dr. Shawanna Johnson, “The students had a blast learning all about rhyming words, magical powers, and happy endings.”
