Ms. Strickland is Certified Golden Achievement Winner
Congratulations to Tricia Strickland, the December 2021 Certified Golden Achievement Award Winner. Upon her presentation, Dr. Bill Epps, her principal, said, “On behalf of Williams Heights Elementary School, I would like to honor Mrs. Tricia Strickland as the certified Golden Achievement winner for the 2021-2022 school year. Mrs. Strickland has taught for 25 years and has served as a teacher at Williams Heights for the last 7 years. Mrs. Strickland is currently serving as our 4th and 5th grade CARES teacher.

“Mrs. Strickland goes above and beyond to help students and staff. This year, she filled a huge gap at the beginning of the year in 4th grade when a teacher had to leave their teaching position unexpectedly. Mrs. Strickland was vital in keeping that class running smoothly and effectively, taking over the role of the homeroom teacher until that position could be filled.

“Her passion for teaching and her heart for her students is seen immediately by everyone. She always has a smile on her face and a kind word to speak to others. In the words of a fellow teacher: I am so thankful to have her on my team. Williams Heights is a better school because of Mrs. Strickland.”
