Mrs. Paige Coker is one of two Certified Golden Achievement Award Winners for September 2021. Supt. Bert Smith surprised Mrs. Coker with the recognition, stating “March 17, 2019 will be a day that we will never forget. The state of Georgia closed all schools due to a worldwide pandemic.
“We hoped to be closed for two weeks and then get back to normal. As we all know, that didn’t happen, and we are still addressing many challenges the pandemic has presented to all of us.
“From our webpage, Facebook, and Thrillshare callouts to other outlets, information can literally be in the palm of one’s hands at a moment’s notice.
“This would not happen without the work of Paige Coker. Mrs. Coker answers many questions, comments, and concerns during a normal school year. However, the pandemic has increased the questions, comments, and concerns exponentially. She addresses the community and stakeholders with the utmost professionalism. We are grateful for the work she does as our Special Projects Director and Public Relations contact.
“Thank you, Mrs. Paige Coker, for helping get our message out to the Ware County Community!”
