It is with great honor that we recognize Nurse Casey Todman for our Golden Achievement Award. In years past, Nurse Casey has done a wonderful job caring for the health and safety of our students and staff. With Covid-19, she has had to wear multiple hats. From determining dates of quarantine and revising on an individual basis, to communicating concerns with parents, calling parents after hours (including nights and weekends), calming parents, and aiding in the arrangement of students to gain access to their school work, she has been the ultimate team player. Documentation and communication are two of her many strengths that ensures her effectiveness. In addition, she is constantly keeping us in the loop with the latest news and updates to help decrease the spread of Covid-19.
The normal elementary ailments - cuts, fevers, strep, and splinters - are still ever present in addition to the pandemic, and Nurse Casey has led the way in helping keep Memorial Drive a safe and healthy school.
Congratulations, Ms. Todman!
