Congratulations to Daffodil Pre-K staff members Belinda Moore, the Certified Golden Achievement Award Winner, and Ann Nettles, the Classified Golden Achievement Award Winner, for the month of April 2025.
In her remarks about the presentation, Principal Dr. Shawanna Johnson noted the following:
“Mrs. Belinda Moore is an amazing teacher leader. She shows love and compassion as she teaches her students and interacts with her co-workers. Mrs. Moore is the chairperson of the School Improvement Team. She makes decisions based on student data, teachers’ needs, district requirements, and family surveys to meet Daffodil’s long-term and short-term goals.
“Mrs. Moore is a team player. She leads our PBIS Team and attends district trainings and meetings, and relays information to our staff to ensure we have the necessary tools and information to meet our PBIS goals. She reminds our students to be safe, be responsible, and be respectful on and off the school campus. Mrs. Moore is dedicated to making sure our students develop the necessary social, emotional and academic skills needed to have a successful transition into kindergarten. Mrs. Belinda Moore is adored and loved by her students, parents, and Daffodil family. Congratulations, it is an honor to present the Certified Golden Achievement Award to Mrs. Belinda Moore.
“Mrs. Ann Nettles is a veteran teacher assistant. She is a hard worker, dedicated, trustworthy, loving, and caring individual. She displays love and affection towards her students. Mrs. Nettles is the type of person who will lend a helping hand to anyone at any time. She mentors first-year teacher assistants and teaches new educators age-appropriate strategies, including technology interactive skills to promote academic, social, and emotional development for our young learners.
“Mrs. Nettles is very creative. She has a decorative touch that she brings to the Daffodil environment. She is the co-chairperson of the Sunshine Committee. Mrs. Nettles takes pride and joy in making others feel happy and special. She is also an active member of our PLC team. Mrs. Nettles creates fun, hands-on actives that she shares with the teaching teams based on student data. Mrs. Nettles has an awesome can-do attitude. We love her at Daffodil. I am so proud to present Mrs. Ann Nettles with the Classified Golden Achievement Award.”
