Congratulations to Dr. Tyrone Kellogg for being nominated for the LifeChanger of the Year award!

"Dr. Kellogg's innovative, genuine, and dependable approach to education has not only transformed the lives of students and staff but also set a new standard for educational leadership.
"Dr. Kellogg is a principal who gets along with all students and acknowledges their needs. Dr. Kellogg has also created a positive atmosphere for the students. Dr. Kellogg shifted his focus to recognizing the top honor students in the school, which has positively changed how some students view school and pushed them to achieve higher grades. There has been an increase in honors graduates since he became principal. Dr. Kellogg also provides options for students with academic deficits. Dr. Kellogg helps every student to succeed by implementing RER days that allow students to be remediated, catch up on work, or be enriched further in the academic material. Dr. Kellogg sees a student's potential and guides them in the direction they need to take to be successful.
"Dr. Kellogg's open-door policy allows any teacher to talk to him. He is always willing to listen to me and advise me on what I can do in my classroom and how I can challenge myself as an educator," said the nominator. "Dr. Kellogg took a chance on me teaching a class, and I am so grateful for the opportunity. Dr. Kellogg's belief in me helped me gain confidence and opened me up to other possibilities and options in education. Without Dr. Kellogg's guidance, I might have left a career I love. Dr. Kellogg truly has all his staff and students' interests in mind. Dr. Kellogg wants to see everyone excel and grow as individuals. Dr. Kellogg has been an innovative individual everywhere he's worked. He has helped multiple individuals to be productive citizens who nurture others to their potential. These are the reasons why Dr. Kellogg should receive the LifeChanger of the Year award."
